unmounted
borderless giclee print from a Velvia transparency of a hand colored original black and white photo, of the old Kahuku Housing Corp or community building (not sure what it was called) 1981?  Hawaii, by longtime Hawaii professional photographer Bill Romerhaus.

It is initialed 'BR' in the lower corner and has photography info and preservation tips included on the label that comes separate with the photo.

This unmounted borderless giclee print was photographed by professional surfing, stock photographer, and master black and white printer Bill Romerhaus, of North Shore Photography, who has been shooting surfing and scenics since 1967. It has preservation tips included in the separate label .
His most recent work has appeared in the  CBS/Eye productions "Hawaii 50", Disney/Dreamworks productions "Fright Night", ABC Television pilot "My Generation", Sony Pictures "Soul Surfer", Universal Pictures "Forgetting Sarah Marshall", and Warner Brothers  "The Big Bounce", filmed on the North Shore or on Oahu, providing vintage photos of nostalgia, and surfing for background artwork.  Bill has lived in Hawaii for over 50 years. In 1965 he shot his first surfing photo and was a contributing photographer to 'Surfer', and 'Surfing' magazines, and over 30 international surfing magazines and manufacturers, as a photojournalist for over 100 publications, advertising/stock photo agencies, and corporate clients worldwide.
In 1983 Bill started NORTH SHORE PHOTOGRAPHY, specializing in black & white darkroom services, after attaining the status as a master black & white printer and film processor for professional clients island wide. His photos have credited him with over 200 cover shots and full page advertisements. His work has appeared in Popular Photography, Shutterbug, American Photographer, Shape, Men's Fitness, Surfing, Surfer, Honolulu, Aloha, Hawaii newspapers, Outdoor, Outside, Conde Nast Traveler, National Enquirer, CNN, Discovery & History Channels, & many others. Professional clients have included American Express, Vogue International, Analog Clothing, Hilton Hotels, Hawaiian Tropic, Hawaiian Airlines, etc. He was also a contributing photographer for over 40 years to The North Shore News, in Haleiwa
Bill now specializes in printing historic and nostalgic images of Hawaii (NOSTALGIC PHOTOS HAWAII) from the thousands of photos he has produced and collected as a professional photographer in the past five decades living in Hawaii and selling his twice award winning photo history book "Haleiwa: A Pictorial History" available at our e-bay store.
