Medieval Military Flail With Steel Chain & 10 Spike Ball.
The handle is made from darkened wood and all other components are steel.
The measurements are as follows:
The handle is 20.5in (52cm) long.
The chain is 30in (76cm) long.
The ball is 3in (8cm) in diameter.
-Each of the spikes protrude an additional 2.75in (7cm) from the ball.
Weighs approx. 6 lbs (2.7kg).
This is not an original, I believe it's a Victorian replica which someone greased up later.
It was covered in a dark oil/grease when I bought it, it was a bit of a mess. I've cleaned it a couple times but it still seems to have some of this stuff remaining. Keep in mind that handling this item may make your hands a bit dirty. I'm sure there are better ways of cleaning it, I've only tried soapy water and a sponge.
