THE BEATLES 1987 Twist and Shout vintage licensed MTV shirt LG

This is an incredibly RARE vintage, licensed t-shirt released to promote the 1987 re-release of THE BEATLES Cartoon show on MTV, which in turn was occurring because of the issue of the Capitol records album, Reel Music. It is five colors silk-screened on a Touch of Gold, Large, 50/50 cotton/polyester shirt. The yellow print is the rare "puff print" (layers and layers of ink raising the lettering above the shirt). The Touch of Gold label hasn't been used for over 30 years. Please note that the shirt design was "officially licensed by APPLE CORP, 1987".
While the television show was produced, for the most part, in Australia and England,
the animation designs are based on artist Ron Campbell's creations. He was after all, the director of the show. Campbell sells original cels from the Beatles shows for hundreds of dollars at auction. The print on this shirt is absolutely vibrant! There are no stains, fading or cracking.
The shirt was never worn however somewhere along the line, a small hole appeared behind the label. Always look for the trademark on shirts. If it doesn't have one then it probably isn't an original.
